Constituent Service Case Highlight
Melissa H. – Medical Assistance (Medicaid) Application Denial
Melissa H. called our office on July 3rd for assistance after her application for Medical Assistance (Medicaid) was denied due to missing income verification documents.
Our constituent services team worked with Melissa, as well as our legislative liaison from the Department of Human Services (DHS), to obtain the necessary income verification documents for her and send them directly to DHS on her behalf.
DHS then called Melissa on July 9 to let her know her Medical Assistance was approved and activated.
