HARRISBURG, PA – July 16, 2026 – State Senator James Andrew Malone today announced the award of four Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants totaling $6,293,000 for key projects in the 36th Senatorial District.
“Investing in these projects will strengthen local municipal services and grow Lancaster’s economy,” said Senator Malone. “From improving facilities for public servants like our local police to creating new commercial space for small businesses, these funds will help Lancaster continue to thrive.
I’d like to thank State Representatives Mindy Fee and Keith Greiner for partnering with me to secure funding for two of these projects. I appreciate their willingness to collaborate for the benefit of our constituents.”
The following projects received RACP awards:
- Ephrata Borough – Ephrata Electric Division Facility – $2,000,000
- For sitework and construction activities associated with the construction of a new municipal building for the Ephrata Electric Division.
- This funding was awarded in partnership with State Rep. Keith Greiner.
- Mount Joy Township – Mount Joy Township Municipal Complex – $1,043,000
- For consolidation of equipment and storage areas on current property, construction of an additional paved access lane for police and public works, increased parking areas for police, security fencing, automated gates, landscaping, and additional stormwater management facilities.
- National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors – National Watch and Clock Museum Renovation II – $250,000
- For a new HVAC system specifically designed for artifact preservation and the facility’s multiple uses. HVAC replacement work will coincide with interior renovations of new indoor exhibit space, including space to exhibit one of the tallest street clocks in America.
- DTL Partners, LLC – 800 Lititz Pike Redevelopment – $3,000,000
- For demolition of a vacant former restaurant and the construction of a new, federal style building that will house food and retail establishments.
- This funding was awarded in partnership with State Rep. Mindy Fee.
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition, and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
