High School Senior Advisory Council
Are you a high school senior living in Pennsylvania’s 36th Senate District? Are you interested in government, public policy, or civic leadership?
Apply now to join Senator Malone’s High School Senior Advisory Council, a unique opportunity to work directly with the office of your State Senator. Council members will meet virtually on the first Wednesday of each month from 4:00–5:00 PM, October through April, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the roles and responsibilities of a state senator’s office.
Through monthly meetings and collaborative projects, students will:
- Learn about the functions of each department within the senator’s office
- Participate in hands-on projects related to policy and community outreach
- Present a policy proposal directly to the senator
In July, students who complete the program will be invited to Harrisburg to shadow the senator for a day, gaining firsthand experience in the legislative process.
This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about leadership, advocacy, and public service.
